Q: What entry standard need to be fulfilled for Master Course?
A:  Sea Service one year with Class II COC  (as Chief Mate) (or) Sea Service two years with Class II COC

Q: How long is the course duration for Master Course?
A: 12 weeks

Q: What entry standard need to be fulfilled for Chief Mate Course?
A: Sea Service one year with Class III COC

Q: How long is the course duration for Chief Mate Course?
A: First Semester 12 weeks and Second Semester 12 weeks

Q: What entry standard need to be fulfilled for OOW Course?
A: The following entry standard need to be fulfilled:
- For High School  graduate
    - Approve Sea Service of not less than three years
    - Need to take MES Entry Test
- For MMMC/ MMU Cadet
    - Approve Sea Service

Q: How long is the course duration for OOW Course?
- 1st Trimester         12 weeks
- 2nd Trimester         16 weeks
- 3rd Trimester         12 weeks
(remark:  for MMMC and MMU Cadet need to take 2nd and 3rd Trimesters only)

Q: What is the duration and entry standard of Radar/ARPA Course?
A: Duration:  10 days
     Entry Standard: OOW Written Exam Passed or Higher COC Holder
(Remark: Course fees will be discounted for MES Students)

Q: What is the duration and entry standard of ECDIS Course?
A: Duration:  5 days
     Entry Standard: OOW Written Exam Passed or Higher COC Holder
             Completed Approved Radar/ARPA Course
(Remark: Course fees will be discounted for MES Students)

Q: What is the Entry Standard for OOW, Chief Mate, Master On Job Training?
A: On Job Training will be provided for all MES Students.
